Remote Product Styling for Wanderings: Handmade Paper and Leather Accessories

Challenge:

Wanderings, a Canada-based brand, needed commercial photography that honored the artisanal quality of their products, which include rough-edged handmade greeting cards (gifts) and vintage-style leather cases. The challenge was to execute a remote product shoot that highlighted the unique textures, deckle edges, and genuine leather materials—characteristics often lost in standard e-commerce photography—while maintaining brand consistency across their product line.

Solution (Our Remote Approach):

Utilizing our specialized remote workflow, Three Sixty Plus ensured the photography spoke directly to Wanderings' values of craftsmanship and mindful living. Dual-Product Focus: We developed custom lighting setups to correctly capture the softness of handmade paper  and the rugged, textural quality of the full-grain leather cases in the same shoot.Texture & Detail Emphasis: Macro shots were essential to showcase the unique deckle edges of the paper and the natural patina of the leather, positioning these as premium, one-of-a-kind gifts and accessories.
Client Collaboration: All styling concepts and final image selections were reviewed digitally with the client in Canada, ensuring the remote execution perfectly matched their vision and brand story.

Result:

The collaboration yielded a versatile portfolio of product photography that amplified the handcrafted nature of the goods. The images are utilized across Wanderings' website, social channels, and in their Amazon listings, strengthening their global brand identity in the competitive handmade gift and travel accessories market.
